A total solar eclipse is a rare and awe-inspiring astronomical event that occurs when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun, completely blocking out the Sun's bright disk from view. Totality is the most dramatic phase of a total solar eclipse, during which, we can witness breathtaking phenomena such as solar prominences, coronal loops, and the shimmering glow of the corona. The sight of the Sun's corona shining brightly against the darkened sky during totality is a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. Total solar eclipses offer a rare opportunity to witness the beauty and wonder of the universe firsthand.

The northern lights, or the aurora borealis, are beautiful dancing ribbons of light formed as the result of disturbances in the Earth's magnetosphere caused by the solar wind. In 2024 May, Solar storm hit the earth forming absolutely biblical skies as the northern lights danced across the US on the night of May 10th.

July 4th Fireworks

July 4th fireworks in Lake Orion, MI in 2020. Due to COVID19 it was a single show instead of the dueling Fireworks show that happens at Lake Orion which is divided by Bellevue Island and provides the best views fo on both sides of island. The show is rated 14th Best in the Country for privately funded shows!
